Senior Accountant

Position Overview: Phoenix Pro Connect is supporting a client in need of a Contract-to-Hire Accountant to assist with full-cycle accounting responsibilities, including month-end close, ERP data cleanup, and general accounting support. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to assist across multiple functions during a system and process cleanup phase. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Conduct ERP system data cleanup to support transition to more efficient reporting
- Help improve internal controls and document accounting procedures
- Support general ledger activities and cross-functional accounting projects
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline financial processes
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience (full-cycle required)
- Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc. preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and internal controls
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
