Operations manager

job summary:
Growing, established and very reputable industrial organization is looking for a promotable (groomed to become plant manager) Operations Manager in the Beaumont, Texas area.

This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $135k to $140k plus an annual bonus and very generous 401k plan with a 7% match.

Relocation assistance is also available.

responsibilities:

• Prioritizes health & safety by adhering to policies, processes and maintaining safe practices at all times

• Ensures compliance of all Federal, State and Local regulations related to the waste and environmental services industry

• Reviews production schedules to plan facility operations; establishes priorities and sequences to ensure productivity and quality

• Establishes operating goals and resolves operational and maintenance issues to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays

• Develops and/or revises standard operational and working procedures; ensures company policies and procedures are adhered to

• Troubleshoots treatment processes through acquired chemisty and waste treatment knowledge and best practices

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science related field (required)

Experience:

• 5 plus years of related plant operations experience in hazardous waste operations and/or chemical plant operations

• Some knowledge and understanding of P&L's

• Technical knowledge of equipment and/or processes related to chemistry

qualifications:

• Experience level: Manager
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Education: High School (required)
