Registered Nurse (RN) - Obstetrics

Registered Nurse Obstetrics

Shift: 1700 - 0530, holiday coverage required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State or approved compact state licensure.

Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required upon hire.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire or within one year of employment.

Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in obstetric nursing required.

Provide comprehensive care to obstetric patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal well-being.

Assist with labor and delivery, including fetal monitoring and medication administration.

Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn health.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care.

Respond to emergencies and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes.

Document patient care services and maintain continuity among nursing teams.
