Homeward Grace Home Support is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional, and experienced caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support to clients throughout Northern Virginia.

We are looking for caregivers who are reliable, patient, respectful, and committed to helping individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

This is a per diem/as-needed position , meaning hours and assignments are based on client needs and are not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

Caregiver responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Assisting with toileting and other activities of daily living
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Providing companionship and supervision
• Preparing meals and assisting with meal preparation
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with errands and appointments when assigned
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Documenting care provided during each shift
• Following the client's individualized care plan
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and Homeward Grace staff

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• PCA or HHA training/certification preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Must be dependable, professional, and punctual
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow written care plans and instructions
• Ability to complete required care documentation
• Ability to pass required background checks and pre-employment screening
• Must complete all required onboarding documentation
• Must maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and families
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Schedule

Available assignments may include:

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Weekday shifts
• Weekend shifts
• 8-hour shifts
• 12-hour shifts
• Shorter or extended shifts depending on client needs

Compensation

Starting pay may vary based on:

• Experience
• Qualifications
• Training/certifications
• Client assignment
• Shift requirements

Service Area

Caregivers may be assigned to clients throughout Northern Virginia , including Fairfax and surrounding communities.
