Therapist (MA/MSW)

Valley Hospital Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Therapist (MA/MSW) to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. Sign on Bonus $5000!! The Licensed Therapist performs social services and psychotherapy functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while providing assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy treatment of individuals, couples, families, and groups to assist patient's in achieving their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, psycho-education, complete specialized clinical psychotherapy services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed. Full-time Inpatient Therapist working a Friday-Monday (4 -10 hour shifts) shift available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with the patient's treatment team and have a thorough understanding of the patient's behaviors, current presentation, and future treatment goals
• Coordinate care with family, community, outpatient providers, and inpatient team via meetings with the individual responsible physician
• Carry a caseload, meet with patients daily, and maintain accurate document

Location: 3550 East Pinchot Avenue, Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: This is a full-time position located on site

Qualifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health, or related degree
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a healthcare setting or managed care company, with experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, utilization management, and/or case management
• Licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LIAC, LMFT, LAAC, LAMFT, or Licensed Psychologist required or the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
