Bank Operations SpecialistAt Regions, the Bank Operations Specialist performs a variety of operational tasks within Bank Operations.Primary ResponsibilitiesReceives and reviews incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as neededResolves customer or associate inquiries as necessaryPrepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects specialized and/or complex documentsResearches and resolves related issues and general related questionsWorks under limited supervision following established guidelines and proceduresEnsures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practicesMay provide guidance to less experienced team membersThis position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDTwo (2) years of operations or related work experienceSkills and CompetenciesAbility to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidanceData entry and typing skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordStrong time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdditional preferred skills and competenciesTechnical and operational experience in a banking, financial services, or related environment preferred.Working knowledge of ATM operations, cash management processes, and banking procedures.Strong understanding of banking systems, transaction processing, and operational controls.Proven ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.Results-driven with the ability to meet and exceed monthly production and performance goals.Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes, systems, and changing business needs.Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.Work Schedule: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM and weekend rotation as part of the regular schedule + shift differential.Must reside within a reasonable driving distance of Hoover, AL.This position is currently remote but may be asked to come onsite or sit onsite in the future. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
