- Minimum of 12 months PERM Labor and Delivery Experience - BLS, ACLS, NRP, Basic Fetal Monitoring certifications required - Must have a permanent Ohio RN License or a Compact State RN license - 1 year combined perm experience in the specialty applying for is required (preferred to be within one location but not required) - One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor or director in the specialty applying for are required to qualify for submission. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. - Required certifications need to be ACTIVE and in hand at time of submission; pending certifications will not be accepted - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required with 2 attempts maximum to pass - Nurses and CSTs are exempt from Nicotine Free Facility Requirements, but all other travelers must be nicotine-free with a Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen required within 12 months of start. Must be updated annually. - Annual Hands-On Competency Requirement for travel candidates who remain on a continuous contract for a minimum of 1 year or return on a contract in the subsequent calendar year. Non-compliance will lead to removal from the schedule until completed. - Modules completed pre-start and annually; modules are recorded via Silkroad. Annual modules are billable for up to 4 hours.
