Shop Helper - Kenner, LA


Full-Time | Long-Term | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Pay: $16/hr

Position Overview


The Shop Helper supports daily operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. This role is hands-on and essential to keeping workflow running smoothly. It also offers opportunities for long-term growth, including the potential to advance into operating company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash, clean, and service shop equipment, including saws and work vehicles
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the shop area
  • Assist with moving equipment between nearby warehouse locations
  • Support general shop tasks to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
Requirements

  • Valid Louisiana driver's license
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday-Friday
  • Comfortable performing physical labor and working outdoors as needed
  • Equipment washing experience preferred
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required
