Staff Accountant
Robert Half
The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, while ensuring that items are cleared in a timely manner
- Prepare daily and monthly journal entries
- Perform month-end expense analysis, loan fee and charge-off reports
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare monthly regulatory reports
- Assist with coding and processing accounts payable
- Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records
- Participate in process improvements and internal control enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 3+ years' experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
