Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills and Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• North Carolina licensure (or eligibility) for SLP
• Hold or actively pursuing Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Passion for empowering students of diverse backgrounds and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy to students based on IEP goals
• Assess, diagnose, and track progress on speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop treatment plans and collaborate in IEP meetings with educators and families
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, session notes, and required reports
• Educate teachers and support staff on strategies for facilitating communication development in the classroom
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to create well-rounded support plans for students
