POSITION SUMMARY

A & Associates is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for a client in the West Palm Beach area.

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with established quality and safety standards.

This position requires a highly organized construction professional who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project stakeholders, and proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact project performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong construction knowledge, project-management experience, financial awareness, and the ability to drive projects forward while maintaining a high level of accountability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage construction projects from preconstruction and planning through completion and closeout.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments, and financial performance.
• Review project plans, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and related construction documents.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractor procurement and ensure scopes of work are clearly defined.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, cost concerns, or operational risks.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide clear updates regarding schedule, budget, quality, and outstanding issues.
• Work closely with field leadership to ensure work is progressing according to project requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and project stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving field conflicts, design issues, and construction challenges.
• Ensure required inspections, permits, approvals, and documentation are completed as necessary.
• Support project closeout, punch-list completion, turnover, and final documentation.
• Promote compliance with company safety and quality standards.
• Perform other project-management duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in construction project management or a closely related role required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related documents.
• Experience managing budgets, project costs, change orders, and subcontractor scopes preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project -management software.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar systems is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction experience will be considered.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position may require time in both office and active construction-site environments. Candidates should be comfortable visiting project sites, navigating active construction areas, and working with field personnel as needed.

COMPENSATION

$75,000 – $100,000 annually

Compensation will be based on construction experience, project-management background, technical knowledge, and overall qualifications.
