Work Environment

You will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Ocala, Florida. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan tailored to the needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a collaborative environment that facilitates teamwork, quality performance, and adherence to the highest standards of patient safety.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and design individualized therapy plans that identify functional opportunities for recovery and improvement.
• Engage with the Director of Therapy Operations (DTO) to pinpoint areas for clinical improvement, optimizing patient care delivery.
• Build and nurture relationships with local employers, referral sources, and insurance payers through proactive communication and engagement.
• Utilize evidence-based clinical systems to document patient progress efficiently, ensuring optimal coding, charge capture, and follow-through on all care orders.
• Stay compliant with Florida's Physical Therapy Practice Act and all relevant regulatory standards, driving accountability and ethical practice.
• Regularly assess patient and client experience metrics to enhance satisfaction rates and foster a welcoming therapy environment.
• Implement the best practices outlined in the Physical Therapy Guidebook, ensuring every patient receives the 'Perfect PT visit.'
• Oversee clinical outcomes while addressing complex case scenarios collaboratively with staff therapists, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Optimize clinical workflows, enhancing patient capture, expediting referral processing, and streamlining scheduling practices.
• Execute therapy plans with a strong focus on early intervention strategies, ensuring timely evaluations and appropriate follow-up care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, or chronic ailments. By understanding each patient's unique goals and challenges, you will tailor your approach to therapy, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, utilizing logical reasoning to navigate clinical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting professionalism and tact in patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting is advantageous, particularly with diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits
