Assistant General Manager

A fast-paced, hospitality-driven restaurant group is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who thrives in high-volume environments, values team development, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The Assistant General Manager will partner closely with the General Manager to oversee daily front-of-house operations, lead and mentor staff, maintain operational excellence, and help drive overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Support all day-to-day restaurant operations in a high-volume, full-service environment
Lead, coach, and develop front-of-house team members and supervisors
Ensure exceptional guest experiences and handle service recovery when needed
Maintain strong food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
Assist with scheduling, labor management, onboarding, and training
Monitor inventory, vendor invoices, and operational systems
Partner with leadership on team performance, culture, and operational improvements
Support new hire interviews, onboarding, and staff development initiatives
Assist with reservation platforms, third-party delivery systems, and guest feedback management
Step in to lead operations in the absence of the General Manager

Qualifications:

Minimum 3+ year of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
Strong leadership and communication skills
Hospitality-first mindset with a passion for guest experience
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
Experience with scheduling, training, and team development
Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
