Working closely with both business stakeholders and IT teams, you will lead system improvement initiatives, develop performance reporting and analytics, and identify opportunities to enhance processes, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.What you will be doing:Act as business team leader and liaison between users and IT on system projects managing all project requests and helpdesk tickets.Analyze all aspects of JLR Order to Delivery processes from Retailer Order through Retailer delivery developing management tools to best evaluate performance and enhance efficiency.Create monthly department performance reporting summarizing performance of ocean carriers, port operations, and inland carriers.Determine if vendor performance meets requirements and develop rationale for improvement changes, increasing throughput and reducing costs. Manage application developments to improve efficiency and reduce resource requirements by increasing the use of AI Tools.Ensure the department is in full compliance with all audit requirementsDevelop knowledge of the major departmental processes and provide backup support in times of high volume and/or staffing shortages.Develop / Implement and manage all aspects of PVOS (Precision Vehicle Operating System) and daily production reporting as well as automated vendor payments for all services performed. What you will need:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related discipline is desirable.3-5 years of progressive business experience in an analytical environment 5-7 years of business experience in the Automotive IndustryMBA in finance / operations or equivalent (Desired)TWIC – Transport Worker Identification Credential (Must have)Advanced project management skillsStatistical analysis and modelling experienceAdvanced report writing and presentation skillsSchedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors.
