Maintenance II

Primary Objective:

Follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to ISO 9001.

Cleans and maintains office, plant, visitors' residence and grounds according to established schedule. May perform minor repairs, also may supervise other maintenance workers in Maintenance Supervisor’s or Team Leader's absence

Major Areas of Accountability

Promotes teamwork, cooperation and commitment to “Total Customer Satisfaction” among team members.

1. Responsible for completion of assigned weekly maintenance schedule with a minimum of supervision. May direct tasks on the schedule to other members of the maintenance crew.

2. Dusts, mops, vacuums office furniture, plant areas and floors.

3. Cleans rest rooms, lunch room fixtures and appliances; replaces supplies.

4. Removes waste materials from the plant and office areas.

5. Assists with set-ups for employee social activities.

6. Periodically strips, waxes and buffs tile floors in plant and office areas.

7. Performs minor plumbing or mechanical repairs.

8. Perform light construction projects.

9. Operate chemical distiller and maintain chemical stations.

10. Shovels snow and removes ice from walkways. Mows lawns and tends to routine landscaping needs.

11. Selects appropriate materials for both cost effective and safe completion of tasks.

12. Drives company vehicle daily to make deliveries. Uses hand and power equipment.

13. Maintains safe work habits per PCB standards and procedures.

1. Performs other duties as directed for the efficient operation of the maintenance team and PCB.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Ability to read, write, and do arithmetic calculations

One year of Maintenance I work or equivalent

May be required to have and maintain a valid driver's license and record of safe driving

This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M).
