Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This role is offered by TALENT Software Services. The base pay is $85.00/hr - $90.00/hr depending on skills and experience. Duties Provide care for high-risk obstetrics patients. Circulate during cesarean sections. Administer medications and manage labor and delivery processes. Support postpartum care and newborn assessments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Participate in patient triage and use of external fetal monitoring. Skills IV therapy and phlebotomy. Administration of blood products and maintaining central lines. Labor and delivery management including high-risk deliveries and C-sections. Proficient in Epic charting system. Neonatal care including APGAR scoring and newborn hypoglycemia management. Postpartum care including breastfeeding support and wound care. Fetal monitoring and recognition of abnormal heart rate patterns. Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in labor and delivery. Experience with a patient ratio of 1:1-3. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP. Preferred experience in high-risk antepartum and facility births over 300 per month. Travel experience not required.
