Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery provides skilled nursing care to postpartum patients in a high-risk obstetric setting. This role involves patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care. The nurse will support a culturally diverse patient population, assist with cesarean sections, and contribute to meeting staffing needs with floating responsibilities as required. A minimum of one year of nursing experience and an active California RN license are required. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (pending licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in Labor and Delivery or postpartum care.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse, high-risk obstetric environment.
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

• Experience working with high-risk obstetric patients.
• Previous experience circulating in operating rooms during cesarean sections.

• Weekend work is required to meet staffing needs.
• Floating is expected, with travelers being first to float within their scope of practice.
• No pending license acceptance; active CA RN license required.
• No Return to Origin (RTO) restrictions beyond 7 days.
• Care provided to a culturally diverse and high-risk obstetric population.

• Start date: ASAP.
• Work schedule includes weekends as required.
• Shift patterns and assignments determined by facility staffing needs.
• Approximately 20 patient visits per day with an average daily census of 15-20 patients.
