LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Mental Health Professional to join our team.
Location: Portland, OR Company Description LMR Technical Group (LMR) is a professional services company that specializes in providing Warfighter Training, Human Performance Optimization, Operational Support, Joint Readiness, Data Analytics, and Integrated Logistics Support to Department of Defense and Federal customers. LMR is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business with corporate offices in Dallas, Texas and Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Job Description: LMR is seeking qualified professionals to support the 125th Special Tactics Squadron (125 STS) Human Performance Program in Portland, Oregon. The program provides an integrated approach to injury prevention, rehabilitation, human performance optimization, consultation, assessment, and reporting for Air Force Special Warfare operators. The mission is to improve readiness, reduce injury and lost duty time, and sustain operator performance. The Mental Health Professional will support the mental readiness, resilience, performance, and well-being of 125 STS operators as an integrated member of the Human Performance Program. Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct discipline-appropriate mental performance and/or behavioral health assessments within professional scope and applicable licensure requirements.
- Provide individual consultation, education, and evidence-based interventions that support readiness, resilience, stress management, recovery, and sustained performance.
- Provide operator feedback following assessments and coordinate care with Government medical staff and the interdisciplinary Human Performance Program team.
- Recognize concerns requiring care outside the program's scope and make or facilitate appropriate referrals consistent with professional and Government requirements.
- Contribute anonymized mental performance/health trends and recommendations to program analysis and reporting while protecting privacy.
- Support education and training for operators and leadership on relevant mental readiness and performance topics.
- Work as part of an integrated Human Performance Program supporting Air Force Special Warfare operators.
- Conduct and document discipline-appropriate operator assessments and contribute to individualized performance, rehabilitation, or care plans.
- Coordinate with other Human Performance Program staff and Government medical personnel to support integrated operator care and return-to-duty objectives.
- Document individual service encounters and provide required program data in accordance with contract timelines and Government procedures.
- Participate in weekly care coordination meetings and monthly program status meetings, as required.
- Support initial and annual follow-up physical and mental performance assessments and provide individual feedback within the scope of the position.
- Contribute to program reporting, assessment analysis, protocol development, and continuous program improvement.
- Protect personally identifiable and health-related information and comply with applicable DoD, Air Force, installation, safety, security, and information-protection requirements.
- Maintain Government-furnished equipment and work areas within the employee's assigned scope and promptly identify equipment or safety concerns.
- Adjust work schedules as required to support quarterly Regularly Scheduled Drills (RSDs), annual training, and mission requirements.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Graduate degree in psychology, counseling, clinical social work, or another discipline that supports independent professional practice within the services to be provided.
- Current, unrestricted professional license or credential required for the services performed in Oregon, or ability to obtain the required authorization before beginning performance.
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification if required by professional scope or Government credentialing.
- Ability to provide documentation of degrees, licenses, credentials, and board certifications for Government review.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance and meet installation/CAC eligibility requirements. U.S. Citizenship is required for a SECRET clearance.
- Ability to work on-site in Portland, Oregon. Telework is not authorized.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Experience supporting Special Operations Forces, military populations, tactical athletes, first responders, collegiate/professional athletes, or other high-performance populations.
- Training or certification in performance psychology or mental performance, such as Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), where applicable.
- Experience integrating behavioral health, resilience, and/or performance psychology services with physical performance and sports medicine teams.
- Familiarity with POTFF or comparable integrated human performance programs.
- Performance is at the 125 STS facility in Portland, Oregon; telework is not authorized.
- Normal services are generally Monday through Friday, 0700-1600, with schedule adjustments for quarterly RSDs, annual training, and mission requirements.
- Personnel may be required to support domestic response crises, including on-call response requirements established by the contract.
- All personnel must comply with installation access, security, OPSEC, cybersecurity, privacy, and required annual training requirements.
