How you make a difference Provides clinical services across multiple correctional facilities under the guidance of supervisory staff. Responsibilities include delivering individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and psychological assessments; documenting clinical interactions, creating service reports, and consulting with institutional staff; conducting diagnostic evaluations; participating in quality‑improvement and mental‑health training; and frequent travel to meet organizational needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver clinical services including therapy, crisis intervention, and assessments Complete clinical documentation, service reports, and treatment evaluations Consult with staff and support mental‑health management of persons served Participate in program development, training, and quality‑improvement initiatives Travel 100% to provide services across multiple facilities Qualifications & Requirements Education Master’s degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university Experience Coursework and professional experience in mental‑health counseling, psychotherapy, diagnosis, and psychological assessment Must be able and willing to travel up to 100% of the time Licenses / Certifications LMSW, LPC, or similar licensure from the appropriate state licensing board Must maintain CPR certification and any other certifications (such as First Aid) required Additional details Position covers NM, CO, MT, ID, UT, WA, and OR. Candidates must hold independent licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in at least one of the states within this region. Regular travel for onsite coverage and TeleHealth services will be required 40 hours per week. Corrections experience is preferred.
