Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the manufacturing engineering organization supporting factory operations, laboratories, and production teams focused on Ring Laser Gyroscope (RLG) and MEMS-based inertial sensors and IMUs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay Range: $58/hr

What's the Job?

• Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyroscope (RLG) and MEMS-based inertial measurement units (IMUs).
• Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends.
• Investigate technical issues, perform failure analysis, and support manufacturing assembly and testing of returned goods.
• Develop improvements to product designs and manufacturing processes to reduce cost and cycle time.
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and CAMP methodologies to drive continuous improvement and support daily production activities.

What's Needed?

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, testing, fabrication, or assembly processes.
• Experience investigating technical issues, performing failure analysis, and supporting manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of RCCA, Lean, Six Sigma, and FMEA tools and methodologies.
