Executive Recruiter at Amplify Recruiting | Certified Sales Leader In this role, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and coaching the sales team while overseeing their professional development. This team engages in sales through various channels, including phone, internet, referrals, and direct in-person interactions. You’ll set sales goals, track performance, produce reports, manage department budgets, and cultivate lasting relationships with existing clients. Responsibilities Direct and oversee all sales functions, including hiring, training, and providing ongoing professional development opportunities for the sales team. Prepare sales objectives and generate reports to monitor actual sales, sales leads, and top accounts performance. Build relationships with top accounts and effectively communicate with the sales team to determine potential target accounts. Be an integral part of the management team and annual budgeting process. Act as an effective leader within the EOS leadership team. Communication It is critical that the Sales Manager maintains good communications with his sales team, customers, co-workers, and management team. This includes: Conducting weekly sales meetings with the sales team to discuss sales and margin goals, market pricing, competitor information, and sales training activities. Meeting with the GM weekly to discuss the status of sales goals, selling strategies, and any customer issues that need to be addressed. Addressing issues with individual sales team members or the entire sales team as needed. Training Ensure all new hires are trained according to guidelines and are quizzed on all materials and critical functions. Maintain an ongoing sales training program to ensure all sales personnel are up to date on policies and procedures. Encourage attendance in training sessions and offsite opportunities, ensuring all salespeople are trained in sales, product, and management. Work directly with the GM to develop and maintain a consistent sales and product training program. Requirements Proven track record in managing a sales team of up to 10. Five plus years of sales management experience with B2B sales; industrial sales experience is a plus. Computer literacy (Excel, Word, CRM software).
