OR Tech/Surg Tech - CVOR Experience Required

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with on-call requirements. Occasional weeknight call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekend call covering 1 weekend per month.

We are seeking an experienced OR Tech/Surg Tech with specialized expertise in Cardiovascular (CV) Surgery. The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in CVOR and be well-versed in scrub, circulate, and equipment documentation for a variety of cardiac cases. Responsibilities include supporting surgical teams during procedures and ensuring compliance with surgical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgeries, particularly cardiovascular cases.
• Document equipment usage and ensure the surgical environment is prepared and sterile.
• Assist in the orientation of new staff and travel personnel.
• Participate in on-call rotations and cover shifts as needed.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 2 years of OR Tech/Surg Tech experience, with a focus on CVOR.
• Active West Virginia (WV) or Compact OR Tech License required (pending license accepted for submission).
• National certification through NBSTSA required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in general, endo/laparoscopic, and thoracic surgeries preferred.
