Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 3+ years of experience and ARDMS certification to perform high-risk OB and general ultrasound studies across multiple hospital sites.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient ultrasound services within the Radiology department
• Floats across 3 sites: Everett, Cambridge, and Somerville
• Cares for patients of all ages, including pediatrics
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Rotating weekends required
• Holiday coverage optional, not guaranteed
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in ultrasound/sonography specialty
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• ARDMS RDMS certification required
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Must be proficient in general ultrasound, small parts, vascular (upper and lower extremity venous), and OBGYN imaging (fetal survey across all trimesters)
• Experience with pediatric ultrasound (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception) required
• Must be able to perform high-risk OB ultrasound
• License required if applicable
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• Driver's license with address matching demographics required for consideration
• 2 recent manager/supervisor references in matching specialty required for consideration
• Skills checklist matching specialty required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs all department tasks within the Radiology ultrasound unit
• Must be flexible and agreeable to floating across all 3 facility sites
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Block scheduling is not allowed
• RTO requests limited to no more than 5 days and must be submitted at time of consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Scrubs required, any color permitted
• Accepts local candidates within a 50-mile radius at a reduced local rate
