Location: 4620 S Sam Houston Parkway Houston, TX Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-hours shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM Primary Responsibilities: * Perform sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations including USP 797 and USP 800 * Maintain competency related to performing sterile compounding * Participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding, including medication and supply ordering, receiving, and maintenance * Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and software issues relating to compounding * Participate in completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning requirements * Work within a team to triage and respond to all compounding needs promptly * Maintain ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma/GED OR 4+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician * Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas * National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) * 1+ years of consistent sterile compounding experience * Ability to work onsite at 4620 S Sam Houston Parkway Houston, TX, Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts between 7 AM - 7 PM Preferred Qualifications: * Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Certification program (CPhT) * Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience * Experience working as an Infusion Pharmacy Technician * Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) Certification Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
