Exciting Opportunity for an Emergency Department RN!

Job Description:

- Join a dynamic Emergency Department team committed to delivering exceptional patient care!

- Unit Highlights:
- 23 patient beds with a ratio of 4:1.
- All RN nursing staff with dedicated techs at the lobby and a secretary.
- Standard emergency department procedures performed.

- Shift Details:
- 13-week assignment with a variable shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Weekend coverage every other week.
- Guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

- Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS.

- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Meditech documentation system.
- Specialty/Unit Certifications (RN) are a plus.

- Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue.
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails or gel.
- Hair Policy: Neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer.
- Body art should be covered; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
- Shoes must be constructed of non-absorbent material with slip-resistant soles.

- Floating Policy:
- Float as needed based on unit demand.
