Our global 3rd Party Logistics company is currently seeking a Logistics Billing Coordinator . This position is responsible for supporting daily billing and invoicing activities while ensuring customer accounts are billed accurately and in a timely manner. The Logistics Billing Coordinator will work closely with operations, customer service, accounting, warehouse, and transportation teams to verify charges, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate customer records.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and previous experience working with billing, invoicing, or accounting functions within a logistics, transportation, or warehouse environment.

Logistics Billing Coordinator Shift:

• Monday – Friday
• 1st Shift
• Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Must be flexible with schedule during training and based on business needs.

Logistics Billing Coordinator Pay:

• Starting at $20-22 / hr DOE

Logistics Billing Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Process and review customer billing and invoices accurately and within established timelines.
• Verify rates, charges, accessorial fees, transportation costs, storage fees, and other billable services.
• Review supporting documentation to ensure billing information is complete and accurate.
• Work closely with warehouse operations, transportation, and customer service teams to confirm services performed prior to invoicing.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, incorrect charges, and customer billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer billing profiles, rates, contracts, and account information within company systems.
• Assist with preparing and processing customer credits, adjustments, and rebills when necessary.
• Review shipping and receiving documentation, BOLs, PODs, freight documentation, and other supporting records as needed for billing.
• Ensure required backup documentation is attached and maintained for customer invoices.
• Communicate professionally with internal departments and customers regarding billing questions and discrepancies.
• Track outstanding billing items and follow up with the appropriate departments to obtain missing information.
• Assist with month-end billing and reconciliation processes.
• Prepare billing reports and spreadsheets as requested by management.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical billing records.
• Ensure billing is completed according to customer-specific requirements and established company procedures.
• Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and the ability to multitask while managing multiple customer accounts and deadlines.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Cross train as required.
• Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all company safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Logistics Billing Coordinator Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check.
• Good job stability.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• 2+ years of billing, invoicing, accounting support, logistics, or related experience preferred.
• Previous logistics, transportation, freight, warehouse, or 3PL experience strongly preferred.
• Experience reviewing freight bills, customer invoices, rates, and supporting shipping documentation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet billing deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP, or billing/accounting software preferred.
• Ability to research discrepancies and resolve billing issues independently.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
