Logistics Coordinator

Schedule This position follows a variable schedule that includes both morning and afternoon shifts, Monday through Friday. Occasional on-call availability is required to respond to carrier and customer inquiries during evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities Manage daily order processing, scheduling, and logistics coordination Maintain consistent communication with customers and transportation subcontractors to ensure delivery efficiency Manage and coordinate relationships with 100+ transportation subcontractors Maintain and update Dispatch Optimization files to ensure ongoing accuracy Conduct market analysis to support operational decision-making Support the Logistics Supervisor with additional tasks and projects as needed Take ownership of decisions and assigned responsibilities, working effectively both independently and as part of a team, with good judgment, accountability, and transparency — recognizing when to ask for help or escal Communicate confidently and professionally by phone and email, proactively identifying and flagging issues, delays, and operational concerns while presenting solutions Develop and retain strong operational knowledge, including customers, carriers, vendors, products, processes, and key contacts Skills & Abilities Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to take initiative and address issues without hesitation Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, drivers, carriers, and internal teams Ability to learn and retain detailed operational information and apply it to daily logistics decisions Petroleum, fuel, transportation, or logistics industry knowledge is preferred but not required Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook) Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is a plus Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Ability to multitask effectively under time pressure Location Conveniently located in Huntington Beach near the 405 Freeway, just minutes from Bella Terra. This is an in-person position. Compensation & Employment Type Salary is dependent on experience (DOE), starting from $23.00 per hour. This role is intended as full-time, though part-time candidates may be considered.
