What You’ll Do as a Physical Therapist Restore Function: Provide tailored therapy services, working with patients to rebuild and retrain essential motor skills. Goal-Setting: Evaluate and establish recovery goals based on each patient's abilities and potential for improvement. Patient-Centered Plans: Develop, implement, and re-evaluate treatment plans to best serve patients’ needs. Pain Relief: Treat patients to alleviate pain and promote maximum functionality. Discharge Planning: Create comprehensive discharge summaries and provide instructions for continued care. Who We’re Looking For Education: Graduate from a PT program accredited by the AMA in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association. Licensure: Unrestricted physical therapy license. Experience: Minimum of one year in a clinical setting. Certification: Current CPR and any facility-specific health screenings. Skills: Effective communicator, ethical professional, and skilled in physical therapy treatment.
