Position Summary: This is a great opportunity to work as a Family Medicine Full Time Medical Receptionist. 4 Days a week. A successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multitask while maintaining good patient and staff relations.

Essential Job Functions: Greets and welcomes patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries appropriately. Maintains patient records by obtaining and accurately recording patient demographics, insurance, and billing information. Collects co-payments at the time of service, receives payments on accounts and reconciles daily cash reports. Responds appropriately to unexpected office events and situations. Protects the right of patients by maintaining confidentiality of personal, health and financial information. Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Medical office experience preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent. Spanish speaking preferred. Excellent computer, telephone, and communication skills. Customer service skills, organization, and attention to detail. Dependable, a team player, friendly, and professional. Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced and stressful environment and manage a multi-line telephone system.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
