Role Description The Financial Advocate is a full-time, on-site role located in Lebanon, OR. This role focuses on supporting members with their financial needs by providing personalized guidance on products such as checking and savings accounts, loans, and other services. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with members, reviewing their financial situations, explaining options, and helping them select appropriate solutions that align with their goals. The Financial Advocate also assists with account opening and maintenance, processes transactions, responds to inquiries, and helps resolve issues in a timely, professional manner. In addition, this role collaborates with internal teams to ensure a positive member experience and participates in outreach activities that promote financial education and community engagement. Qualifications Strong customer service and member advocacy skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships. Solid knowledge of basic consumer banking products, lending concepts, and personal finance, or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly. Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions, documentation, and member information. Comfort with technology, including core banking systems, CRM tools, and standard office software. Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced, member-focused environment. High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality. Prior experience in financial services, retail banking, or a customer-facing role is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
