Job Title: Production Supervisor Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to grasp the technical aspects of manufacturing operations. The role requires someone who can effectively lead a team, possesses good character, and is an attentive listener. A demonstrated ability in employee supervision is essential, including coaching, discipline, and discharge responsibilities. Experience in a plastics manufacturing environment is preferred, but candidates with experience in other industries such as textiles are also encouraged to apply, provided they have experience in machine operations.

• Lead and supervise a team of production associates and machine operators.
• Conduct employee evaluations and development coaching.
• Operate, repair, and maintain manufacturing machines.
• Ensure quality assurance and control through visual inspections.
• Oversee the implementation of safety and production protocols.
• Manage a 12-hour rotating schedule, alternating between day and night shifts.

• 3-5+ years of recent or current production supervisor experience.
• Proficiency in operating, repairing, and maintaining machines.
• Experience in managing, coaching, and developing a team.
• Strong decision-making skills and confidence in leading a team.
• Prior experience in plastics manufacturing or similar industries.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn manufacturing operations.
• Physical stamina for extensive walking and standing.
• Open to candidates from textile and other production machining environments.
• Experience in quality assurance and visual inspection.

The position involves a 12-hour rotating schedule (2/2/3) with monthly day/night shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM. Initial training will be conducted on the first shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for 1-2 months. The work environment requires physical stamina and involves a lot of walking. The dress code is standard for a manufacturing setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Browns Summit, NC.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
