CDR ProSource is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Deburring Operator (Detabber) to join a metal fabrication facility near Three Rivers, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for removing sharp edges, burrs, and excess material from fabricated metal parts to ensure they meet the highest quality and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy working with hand and power tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Details
Location: Three Rivers, MI
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from metal parts using hand and power tools.
- Inspect fabricated parts for quality and accuracy before and after deburring.
- Operate grinders, sanders, deburring tools, and other finishing equipment safely.
- Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure finished parts meet customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Stable work history with good job longevity.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
- Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to identify defects and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
