Project Coordinator

Description This role supports Demand Side Management (DSM) under the Energy Efficiency and Demand Response umbrella. The Project Coordinator works across both teams, with responsibilities shifting based on seasonality and program volume. Primary focus areas include: Residential Saver Switch AC Rewards (smart thermostat program) Support for limited commercial Saver Switch work Additional exposure to EV rebates, energy efficiency rebates, pilot programs, and Windsource enrollments during lower-volume periods The work is high‑volume, operational rebate processing and program administration. Accuracy is critical because rebates and incentives are regulated by the PUC. Processing high‑volume rebate and work orders (tens of thousands annually) Working from shared Salesforce queues, oldest to newest Validating customer eligibility, equipment qualification, and incentive amounts Coordinating indirectly with Hunt Electric (third‑party vendor) via Salesforce, email, or chat Reviewing applications submitted digitally, via PDF, and by physical mail Using Salesforce dashboards to monitor progress and quotas Collaborating daily with team members via chat Supporting both residential and (as needed) commercial rebate workflows Indirect external support through Hunt Electric electricians (installation questions, eligibility clarification) Strong emphasis on accuracy, volume, and quotas 40 hours Standard work hours between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. During training (first 4-6 months), the resource follows the trainer's schedule Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in: High‑volume, shared‑queue environments Operational processing or program administration Strong attention to detail and accuracy Analytical and validation skills Prior data entry / operations experience (modern systems, not manual entry) Experience working in a large corporate or cross‑functional environment Utility or rebate experience preferred Self‑driven and highly motivated Strong work ethic (important for remote work) Engagement and ambition Team‑oriented mindset Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Early‑career professionals looking to grow within energy or utilities Interest in energy efficiency, sustainability, or utility programs Salesforce experience Excel proficiency Familiarity with PDFs, scanning, and document conversion Exposure to rebate, utility, or regulated program environments Process‑improvement mindset Benefits Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois.
