Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Lima, OH Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a growing clinical team in Lima, Ohio. In this onsite role, you will provide preventive care, chronic disease management, health education, and clinical services directly to employees in a workplace setting. Key Responsibilities Medical Oversight & Care Coordination

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to coordinate treatment plans and ensure high-quality patient care.

• Provide preventive health services, health assessments, and chronic disease management support.

• Coordinate with local emergency medical services (EMS) and community healthcare resources as needed.

Wellness Program Support

• Lead and support workplace wellness initiatives designed to improve employee health and wellbeing.

• Promote preventive care through health education, screenings, and wellness coaching.

• Participate in health campaigns, onsite wellness events, and employee engagement activities.

Clinical Services

• Administer immunizations, including flu vaccines, tetanus vaccinations, and other injections as appropriate.

• Conduct health evaluations and provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.

• Support workplace health and safety initiatives through clinical expertise and consultation.

Workplace Safety & Compliance

• Perform fit testing for respiratory protection equipment and facemasks when required.

• Participate in safety committee meetings and workplace health initiatives.

• Attend site-specific meetings to address employee health concerns and support occupational health programs.

• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Ohio.

• Current national Nurse Practitioner certification.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in occupational health, employee health, wellness programs, primary care, or chronic disease management.

• Knowledge of biometric screenings, lifestyle coaching, and medication education.

• Experience working with diverse patient populations in workplace or onsite clinic settings.

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
