Channel Development SpecialistPOSITION INFORMATIONThe Channel Development Specialist role is a key function whose role is to attract and retain channel partner revenue through pro-active transactional engagement and develop, grow, and manage assigned accounts. ROLE MISSIONEnable clear, accurate, and timely sales execution by coordinating closely with Datalogic’s distribution partners, maintaining strong knowledge of Datalogic’s solution portfolio, and driving disciplined weekly forecasting through effective, multi-channel communication.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage sales funnel related activities in the Datalogic CRM system to capture opportunities and business development initiativesSupport new business development by outbound prospecting to a select group of partner distributors through marketing outreachDevelop marketing initiatives and coordinate marketing activities with marketing function.Receive inbound partner inquiries related to Datalogic products from a select group of partner accounts that Datalogic expects to retain.Develop and manage new partners to drive revenue growth by providing training sessions with prospective partner distributorsFacilitate order bookings for Datalogic products between Datalogic partners and Datalogic distributors.Manage relationships with assigned resellers to ensure strategic and tactical alignment and successful execution of growth strategy.Support Key Account Manager and Channel Account Managers as needed.Administer and manage price exceptions.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSEducation (School/Specialization)Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in business, economics, marketing, or other related degreePrimary LanguageFluent EnglishExperience1 + years of similar experience#LI-DNICompany InformationCOMPANY BACKGROUNDDatalogic is a global technology leader in the automatic data capture and factory automation markets, specialized in the designing and production of barcode readers, mobile computers, sensors for detection, measurement and safety, RFID, vision and laser marking systems.Datalogic can boast over 50 years of history, during which it has achieved unique results: approximately 1.200 patents in multiple jurisdictions; 10 research centers and development (in Italy, USA, China and Vietnam); thousands of prestigious partners and customers deployed over five continents.
