Position Overview Malaria No More is seeking astrategicfundraisingprofessional toserve as apart-timeMajor Giftsconsultant for Malaria No More’s upcoming 20thAnniversary Campaign.This highly creative and dynamicindividualwill engagewithinternal and external stakeholders and develop and implement a fundraising strategy to celebrateMalaria No More’s 20thanniversary.This role willprovidestrategicguidance on unrestrictedfundraising and donor engagement activities related to the 20thAnniversaryCampaign, playa central rolein engaging potential donors, and work in coordination with staff to develop content.Malaria No More isflexible to pay hourly, project based, or on deliverables. Key Responsibilities Working with internal collaborators,refineand implementstrategyto celebrate MNM’s 20thanniversaryacross diverse donoraudiences includingAnnual Fund donors, Board members,HNWIs,andcorporatepartners. Lead series of “Board Salons” toidentifyand engage prospective newMajordonors. Develop and implementindividualcultivation and solicitation strategies forpriority donors withintheexisting donor database, in coordination withStrategicDevelopmentteam. Build andmaintainmeaningful relationships withmajordonors and prospective donors. Identifynew prospects for giving, using personalnetwork,existingMNMnetwork, wealth screening tools, andadditionalresearch. Support and strategically deploy the CEOand leadershipteamtocultivate,solicit, and stewardHNWIs,major donors, andcorporate donors. Maintainaccurateandtimelyrecords of prospect and donor interactions and stewardship activities in the development database. Working with Communications team and Graphic Designer, draftand edit externalfundraisingmaterialsas needed. Support event planning, based on overall strategy needs. 20thAnniversary Campaign strategy, including annual fund donors, HNWI,andcorporatepartners. Planning and execution for small high-level fundraising events (Board Salons) Pending strategy: HNWI/ Major Donorengagement and new prospectcultivation Corporate engagement and new prospectcultivation 20thanniversary fundraising eventplanning and execution Minimum8-10years ofdirectly relatedphilanthropy experience, with a record ofnon-profit fundraisingsuccess including the demonstrated ability to create fundraising plans, set and meet goals, andsolicitand close major gifts from individuals and/or corporates and foundations. Excellent and persuasive writing and editing abilities. Motivated, creative, and organized self-starter with attention to detail. Comprehensive major gift cultivation and solicitation skills and experience, including short and long-term planning and evaluation, philanthropy ethics, cultivation practices, and development and maintenance of systems and processes. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills. Creative, innovative thinker with a problem-solving mindset. Stronggraspofmalaria and global health. Passion for nonprofitfundraisingand mission-driven work.
