IT Sales Executive
NTT DATA Services is seeking an IT Sales Executive to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US). Job Summary: Identifies, qualifies, develops and closes sales within a service line, vertical or sector. Plans, facilitates and conducts complex client negotiations, and applies consultative selling skills to develop attractive value propositions. Utilizes advanced knowledge of NTT DATA's service offerings and understanding of the client's business to develop customized proposals that present creative solutions. Maintains effective client relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers to understand the client's requirements match them with solutions and close the deal. Collaborates with delivery teams to ensure that delivery capability matches the proposed solution.
Description: Individuals are expert in their subject area and have working knowledge of related subject areas. They lead large scale projects. They may lead or guide others on cross-functional projects outside of their own department. Focuses on selling services solutions across geographies, segments and / or industries. Anticipates how market and competitive factors will influence the selling of NTT DATA services. Executes goals and strategies within sales area. Structures and implements sales plans within the context of established strategy. Initiates new or revised sales procedures, programs and initiatives. Sells to larger and national size accounts that may include global operations. Typical client contact is at senior IT management level and may have limited exposure to Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) level decision makers.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum 5-10 years of experience successfully selling and/or delivering IT services within the federal government space Minimum 5-10 years of relevant Sales/Business Development experience Minimum 5 years of experience managing business development and/or delivery efforts Minimum 5 years of experience supporting different aspects of the sales lifecycle including opportunity identification, qualification, account penetration, pursuit strategy, and contracting processes Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Graduate degree preferred. Excellent industry and service solution knowledge. Excellent understanding of client's decision making process, goals, objectives and strategies. Excellent business and financial acumen. Excellent ability to assess potential sales opportunities and develop value propositions. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $132,000 - $220,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
