Role: Assistant Branch Manager Location: Leeds Sector: Building Materials / Plumbers Merchants / Plumbing and Heating / Builders Merchants Package: £30,000 – £37,000 + Bonus A highly respected plumbers merchant is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join a small, close‑working team. The branch is a 5‑person operation with a turnover of £2.5 million and is profitable. Responsibilities Support the Branch Manager by overseeing day‑to‑day operations and ensuring smooth business flow. Lead the sales team, providing coaching and motivation to achieve sales targets. Manage operational aspects of the branch to free up time for sales activities. Maintain and improve the company’s strong market position. Drive sales and profitability by coordinating trade and customer engagements. Inspire and mentor team members to achieve their full potential. Qualifications Previous operational or supervisory experience in the construction or trade sales industry. Experience in a plumbers merchant or builders merchant setting is preferred. Strong sales and operations management focus with a proven record of success. Ability to inspire and manage a small team effectively. Desire for career progression within the company. #J-18808-Ljbffr
