Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in the Parker, CO area, requiring remote telemetry experience and a willingness to float between regional campuses.

Job Details

• Acute care hospital Med/Surg unit with 35 beds serving adult and geriatric patient populations,
• Remote telemetry monitoring is part of the unit's scope of care,
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5,
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week,
• Every other weekend required,
• Floating required as needed, including to other Med/Surg units and potentially to other campuses within the regional network (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, and Porter),
• For float assignments outside of home site, notice will be given at least 2 hours prior to shift,
• No on-call requirements,
• Epic EMR,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,
• Current BLS certification required,
• Med/Surg nursing experience required,
• Remote telemetry experience required,
• Willingness to float between multiple regional campus locations as needed,

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers - no radius rule applies,
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler,
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required or an approved declination; booster is not currently required,
• Per facility call-off policy, if you call off on a weekend or holiday, your manager may schedule you for another weekend or holiday in its place
