Job Summary Under general supervision, the District Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for performing specialized health care procedures, administering medications, and providing emergency medical care for students across all grade levels. The LVN leads and trains Health Office Aides, oversees student health needs, maintains medical records, ensures compliance with health screenings and immunizations, and provides staff training on basic health protocols. The position operates independently while collaborating with district health services. Salary: $24.96 - $31.89 per hour. External candidates start at Step A‑C based on verified experience; current regular employees on promotion are placed at the lowest step of the new range, providing a raise of approximately 5%, within salary schedule constraints. Requirements / Qualifications District-approved First Aid & CPR certification obtained through an in‑person or blended course (online‑only courses are not accepted). Licensed Vocational Nurse Certificate (LVN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) license.
