Sales Project Manager - Insulation Division Kinzler Construction Services | Omaha, NE Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with builders, general contractors, developers, architects, property owners, and other construction professionals. Prospect new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, jobsite visits, industry events, referrals, and market research. Follow up on leads, bid opportunities, proposals, and open quotations to secure new projects. Review plans, specifications, and project documents to identify project opportunities and prepare accurate quotations. Present proposals, sell company services, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities. Manage customer accounts and maintain regular communication throughout the sales and construction process. Coordinate with estimating, operations, field personnel, and customers to ensure project expectations are met. Conduct jobsite visits to build relationships, identify future opportunities, and address project concerns. Monitor local market activity, competitors, industry trends, and pricing strategies. Expand existing customer relationships by identifying opportunities to provide additional services and products. Resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Ensure proper execution of contracts, submittals, purchase orders, and project documentation. Assist with project management activities including schedule coordination, change orders, production updates, and project closeout. Support collections efforts and collaborate with the accounting department regarding customer credit and receivables. Provide market intelligence and strategic feedback to leadership to support continued growth and profitability. Qualifications Construction industry experience preferred but not required. Proven ability to build relationships and generate new business opportunities. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve sales targets. Ability to read construction plans and specifications is preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, scheduling tools, and CRM systems. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams. Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings, networking events, and jobsite visits.
