Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Project Manager to support enterprise-wide procurement and contract-management activities. This role will serve as a key liaison between business/program teams and centralized procurement functions, helping develop sourcing strategies, solicitation documents, procurement schedules, evaluations, and contract-award activities.

The position requires a highly organized professional with strong procurement knowledge, excellent project and time-management abilities, and experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and assist business divisions with solicitation specifications based on internal and external information.

• Lead and support procurement activities from requirements gathering and sourcing strategy development through contract award.

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational requirements and established policies and procedures.

• Support solicitation development and administration.

• Work with centralized procurement teams to execute procurement activities.

• Assist with procurement evaluations and related documentation.

• Apply knowledge of multiple solicitation methods, including:

  • Request for Proposal (RFP)

  • Request for Qualifications (RFQ)

  • Request for Information (RFI)

• Provide strategic guidance to business and program teams regarding appropriate procurement methods.

• Evaluate business requirements and recommend appropriate procurement approaches.

• Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders, procurement teams, vendors, and other external parties.

• Represent the organization professionally in meetings and procurement-related discussions.

• Coordinate multiple project schedules, milestones, meetings, and deadlines.

• Prepare, review, proofread, and edit procurement-related documents and correspondence.

• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and communications throughout the procurement lifecycle.

• Monitor timelines and ensure procurement activities remain on schedule.

• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field .

• 510 years of professional experience in business, procurement, contract management, or a combination of these areas.

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and solicitation methodologies.

• Experience with RFP, RFQ, and/or RFI processes.

• Experience with procurement strategy and contract-related activities.

• Strong project management and time-management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and scheduling abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Government or public-sector procurement experience.

• Experience working with centralized procurement offices or procurement governance teams.

• Experience developing solicitation specifications.

• Contract administration experience.

• Vendor/stakeholder management experience.

• Experience supporting procurement evaluations.

• Knowledge of legal, compliance, insurance, and contractual requirements.

• Strong business writing and document-editing skills.

Work Arrangement

Location: Nashville, TN
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM CST
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Approximately 12 months
