CT Technologist, 24hr, Days - Float

Provides direct patient care services and other related functions in support of the department Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billings Positions and transfers patients appropriately Completes exams and performs QC on images Assists in maintaining orderly inventory Establishes IV access for contrast injection Requirements Graduate of an accredited radiological program Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in performing CT scan examinations, establishing IV access for contrast injection, and maintaining accurate patient records.
