Radiologic Technologist, PD - Float

Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Senior Radiologic Technologist, provides direct patient care services and other related functions in support of the department. Performs independently within scope of department policies. Clinically works at the direction of a qualified Radiologist. Properly performs all diagnostic and fluoroscopic radiologic techniques and examinations, consistent with the age of the patient, within in-patient or outpatient settings, in compliance with departmental and professional standards and protocols. Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records. Assists physicians with interventional exams. Promptly and properly completes exams and appropriately performs QA to images and sends exams to PACS for review by the radiologist. Requirements Graduate of an accredited radiological program. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with peers to produce optimum results. Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families.
