Job Opportunity: Neuro ICU Travel Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neuro ICU Travel Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a specialized Neuro Intensive Care Unit.

Shift Information

• Rotation: Days/Nights with Every Other Weekend (EOW)
• Weekend shifts consist of Friday and Saturday nights; Sunday is not considered a weekend.
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed, and paired scheduling with another traveler is not ensured.
• Rotation every 4 weeks, based on unit needs.
• Final confirmation of schedules will be provided during the interview.

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Patient Ratio: Estimated 1:1-2.
• Floating: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU.
• Certifications required:
  • BCLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS (AHA Certifications only)

Skills Required

• IV Start
• Telemetry
• Ventilators
• Intracranial Pressure Monitoring

EHR Experience

Experience with Epic electronic health records is required.

  • 24/7 access to additional surface lots.
