Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Join our Critical Care Float Pool, working night shifts with the flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. As a nurse in this role, you will float to a variety of Intensive Care Units (ICUs) based on staffing and patient acuity, including:

• Neuro ICU
• Surgical ICUs
• Medical ICUs (MICU x2)
• Cardiology/Diagnostics
• CVICU
• SICU / MICU / NCCU

Please note that nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications – Required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record – Required
• Experience with IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management

Previous travel nursing experience is strongly preferred.

Parking Information

Parking permits are available through various options:

• WMC Permit: 24/7 access to designated parking garage
• WB Permit: Access to specific garages on weekends and holidays
• CXS Permit: Available for additional parking during weekends and holidays

Annual permits require upfront payment and may provide prorated refunds for unused future months. Current and prior months are not refundable. It is advised to cancel by the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge.
