If you enjoy working with young children and creating a safe, engaging environment where they can learn, explore, and thrive, we'd love to meet you. As a Daycare Teacher, you'll help children develop important social, emotional, language, and cognitive skills through hands-on activities, purposeful play, and meaningful interactions. What You'll Do Create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe and supported Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play Support children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development Supervise daily routines including meals, outdoor play, rest time, and classroom transitions Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment Follow all New Jersey licensing regulations and center health and safety standards Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous experience in a daycare, childcare center, preschool, or early childhood education setting preferred Passion for working with young children Strong communication and teamwork skills CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus CPR and First Aid certification preferred What We Offer Competitive pay of $17–$18 per hour Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends Paid training and professional development Employee childcare discount Supportive leadership team Opportunities for career growth within The Learning Experience Join The Learning Experience – Ledgewood and become part of a team that is dedicated to creating joyful learning experiences and helping children build the confidence and skills they need for lifelong success. #J-18808-Ljbffr
