Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Oncology unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Care for a diverse patient population including oncology, palliative, post-operative bariatric, and medical/surgical overflow patients
• Utilize electronic medical records via ePIC and operate standard clinical equipment including IV pumps and vital sign machines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Medical/Surgical experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current NIHSS certification (American Heart Association)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Acute care experience strongly preferred
• Experience with ePIC EMR system
• Demonstrated qualities of responsibility, dependability, compassion, and a patient-oriented approach
