Travel RN – Oncology (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a medical oncology unit serving oncology, palliative, post-operative bariatric, and medical/surgical overflow patients
• Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1 in an 18-bed unit setting
• Operate and monitor equipment including IV pumps, vital sign machines, and computers within an Epic EMR environment
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care consistent with unit standards and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Medical/Surgical experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current NIHSS certification (AHA)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Acute care experience strongly preferred
• Experience with oncology, palliative care, or post-operative bariatric patient populations
