Job Title: General Production Job Description

This role involves visual inspection of cables as they come off the production line, tagging broken or dysfunctional wires, and utilizing a pallet jack to move materials throughout the facility. You will assist in various areas of the manufacturing plant, including palletizing, packing, moving materials, general cleaning, and helping where needed.

• Palletize, pack, and move materials efficiently.
• Perform general cleaning duties and help where needed.

• Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Experience with pallet jacks.

• Machine operating experience.
• Computer savvy.
• Bilingual capabilities.

The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on teamwork under a newer manufacturing supervisory team. The facility houses an inventory area, shipping department, and manufacturing department. Employees work with large and older machinery, and the environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Steel toe boots and long pants are required, along with work-appropriate attire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valparaiso, IN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
